![]() ![]() i agree with this. 100%. so fucking sick of retorting people who has no empathy for animals, that have sacrificed their lives UNWILLINGLY in order to be on our plates. so sick of always thinking thrice before telling people that i am going vegetarian, and that my aim is to become a vegan. because no matter how close a friend you are to me, 80% of you give me a fucked-up face & force-feed me after i have told you that i DO NOT want meat. you wanna be a carnivore/omnivore, you do it. but dont make it sound as though you are fucking big, and as though you have the rights to criticise herbivores. i dont blame you for becoming a carnivore, because people are taught this way since centuries ago. secretly, i am hoping to travel back in time and stop people/tribes that started off with the hunting of animals to ease their hunger. if i do manage stop them, humans now will find animals as companions, not food. McDonalds wouldn't even exist. since i cant travel back, im doing my teeny weeny part to help these suffering animals. you think animals are mindless? you think they like to be slaughtered, have their blood flow on that cold red floor? it hurts me so much. maybe i was a cow in my past life, born to be served on the plates. i cannot stand it. i feel burdened eating meat, seriously. if i could change you, i would do my best to keep you motivated. being vegetarian/vegan isnt really at all hard if you think about it. it may be hard on some special occasions, but trust me, no-meat meals can taste good too. if i couldn't change you, it's ok, you just dont understand it yet. of course i hope that you will understand how much animals have suffered to satisfy your taste palate someday. i was an omnivore in the past, and i craved for meat, so i understand. BUT NOW I WANNA BE A HERBIVORE. PLEASE DONT CRITICISE ME. i always find myself retorting to such nonsense, 10 examples of such nonsenses are in the link below. so sick of it. read it yourself: http://www.care2.com/causes/10_arguments_against_a_vegan_lifestyle.html#ixzz1n6FKHzvn Using animals and consuming animal products is an unjust and often violent taking.just in case you are wondering... why am i forcing myself to do something so extreme? why do i sacrifice so much for animals? the above quote is for you. THANK YOU FOR ASKING, BUT NO THANK YOU, I AM NOT SUFFERING. I AM HAPPY BEING A HERBIVORE. FYI, no one close to me is a vegetarian/vegan. i started this off all by myself. did research on what vitamins i need to maintain a healthy diet without meat, did research on vegan recipes, and i prepared my meals. i did it all from scratch. then again, THANK YOU FOR ASKING, BUT NO THANK YOU, I AM NOT SUFFERING. I AM HAPPY BEING A HERBIVORE. |
