fish,
i hate you for causing me much pain.

but i love you for allowing me to have such a memorable experience being hospitalised and be given anaesthesia to do a small operation with a mere 5% risk.
it was damn cool and 刺激!

and to tell you the truth,
i had zero fear when being pushed into the operation theater.
probably because im too excited.
LOL.
^ my xray with the bone stuck deep down my throat.
:D

i think im sick in the mind.
=.=

all right.
so that fateful night,
i was almost finishing my dinner.
left with the fish soup.
so i was preparing to drink it when my mum randomly commented:"我觉得我很像林青霞."
i got so shocked by her comment that i swallowed a mouthful of soup all into my mouth in one go.
then i started to have a piercing pain in my throat.
and tears start to roll down my cheeks profusely without control.
that's when i realised i have swallowed some stupid fish bone...

went to some 24/7 clinic at pasir ris central but the doctor said that he could not help because he couldnt see the bone.
so i was being rushed to changi general hospital.
and what the heck.
just nice yesterday was the day when singapore had the first H1N1 case.
lucky me.
i have to go through so many unnecessary procedures with the pain.
brrr.

and i must really thank my dad and mum for accompanying me all these while...
okay.
so right after EVERYTHING,
i was appointed to this doctor, namely Dr Tham.
he is one funny guy.
haha.
so he was explaining the need for me to go through a small operation.
the risk being:

1. 'cos the op can earliest be by 6am, hence throughout the night, if the bone were to go any further down my throat and cut it deeper, i most probably will have to be hospitalised a week with a tube pushed into my nostrils to feed me with milk.
wth. imagine how uncomfortable that would be man! eeww.

2. i might suffer from some breaking of teeth during the op, and my jaw would most probably be pried damn widely open.
i have a weak jaw which may dislocate! but luckily in the end i merely got a tiny abrasion on my upper lips. phew...

and one thing which i vividly remember...
i was craving to brush my teeth so much.
so when i asked the nurse if i could brush my teeth,
she gave me some stupid face and said:"NO NO NO! why do you even think about brushing your teeth? there are more important things to do!"
*rolls eyes*
i cannot stand not brushing my teeth (or at least a gargle) after a meal what!
brrr.

so.. that night, i went to sleep while my mum and dad went home for a rest.
my body alarm woke me up at 6am on the spot.
and i saw my mum already sitting by my bedside.
that feeling was incomprehensible.
i love you, mummy.

after changing into the operation gown or whatever you all call that,
i was being pushed into the operation theatre.
and yes,
i feel excitement proliferating inside me.
hahahah!

i was given anaesthesia,
and after 3seconds,
im off to lala land.
:)

when i woke up!
i was feeling damn fine.
just that my throat is a little sore and there's this little bum on my upper lips...

^ look at my mum dozing off!
she looked so exhausted.
:(

^ and this is the piece of ceiling which i see for the whole time in the ward.^ and this is the stupid fish bone,
which was given to me as a present.
*rolls eyes*
i cant believe you defeated me.
^ and bye ward46, bed43 forever!
:D

^ and aww, thank you part of 0934 for this card!
:D

and of course,
a zillion thanks to all those who concerned.
i feel so blessed.
:)
