i feel like im being trapped, by U-grades. cant believe i failed my computing too. on a second thought, i expected that i will fail, but not as badly. 22%... what the heck is this. another U-grade besides my maths, which is 25%. i keep getting U! damn it. flunked 2 H2 subjects, and i dont have confidence in my economics. guess parents meeting my teachers wont be long... and i hate my dad whenever he acts like he knows everything to solve my problem. i broke the news to him last night, and he just... talk like he was in my shoes. what borrow books(i did okay, and those books are bull), buy books(where the hell? popular? i cant even understand my teacher's notes! so lets put aside those pro books), ask friends(ask matthew man, he helped me the most, BUT IM STILL LIKE THAT), ask seniors(like i know one who takes up computing....), ask cousins(look at them, they are geniuses! why the hell would they want to take up C++?! its such a !@#$%^ subject)... then he started talking about his tertiary days. easier said than done. of course, i argued my way through. in the end, he still wasnt convinced. and so i just shut up and hear him say those 'easier-said-than-done' things. after a few minutes, i finally feel my ears were in peace. no one is to be blamed for my U-grades. i think i didnt work hard enough. oh wells, and i seriously hope that the problem lies with me not working hard enough, and not my brain. if the problem lies with my brain, my JC life is game over. but if its just me not working hard enough, maybe i can save myself. just like what mr chee said. its okay to fail this time round, just score FULL MARKS for promos. haha. when he said that, i was really cheered up by him. and... im aiming for great improvement award. :] |
